The main use case for this iPhone application is for users to be able to create and send a Christmas greeting card within one minute. Since Christmas holiday greetings hold a long tradition, we thought “Framed on Christmas” would be a perfect application for the holiday season. Now people can use their iPhone to create Christmas greetings fast and easy. Whether you want to surprise your friend or family member with a Christmas e-card or just forgot to greet your grandma in time, this iPhone application is perfect to suit the occasion. Unlike other similar Christmas card applications, ours features rich and tasteful graphics and intuitive interface. Just pick a frame for the Christmas greeting, take a picture of yourself or a friend and send it by email. If you like to keep the postcard to yourself (or don’t have any friends) you can also save the card to your iPhone or iPod.
In the first iteration of the app we are releasing the classic Christmas cards collection. These would include traditional decorations, colors and styles in order to bring the most Christmas greetings experience to the user. Future releases will be themed according to the original ideas we get once in a while :)
Before making of this iPhone/iPod application, we looked at what’s already out there in the realm of Christmas greetings and weren’t satisfied with what we saw. The applications we’ve seen generally lacked Christmas spirit, tastefulness or common usability. That’s what we’ve decided to focus on. We’ve spent much time on the sketches and designs to make the Christmas greeting experience most pleasurable. Christmas cards take weeks to complete in real life, our iPhone app allow you to do the same in the matter of seconds! Enjoy :)
